All guests will find a warm welcome at Myrtle House, where we successfully blend the luxury and comfort of a good bed & breakfast venue with the warm, friendly and personal atmosphere only achieved in a family home. You have access to your room at all times and we are available most of the time should you need help or information.

Dating from the late 1800’s Myrtle House stands on a large corner plot, up on Beeston Bump in Sheringham, Norfolk. We are in a quiet residential setting 7 minutes walk from the centre of Sheringham, and 4 miles from Cromer. Ideally situated for exploration of this beautiful coastal area of Norfolk and with direct access from our back garden on to the cliff top walk which runs for miles in both directions.

We are perfectly positioned for walkers, golfers and train enthusiasts. We also offer the perfect quiet break for anyone who wishes to be pampered in clean, fully modernised surroundings, whilst still retaining the character of a C19th cottage. 

Accommodation
Our three bedrooms (two en-suite, one with private bathroom with bath and shower) offer great flexibility, whether you want single, double or twin, we are confident that you will find we have rooms to suit your needs.

All en-suites have towel-rail/radiators so that you can have warm, dry towels all year round. The rooms are comfortably furnished and equipped with your needs in mind. They are carpeted, centrally heated and double-glazed . Each room has  wardrobe and drawer space as well as a desk/dressing table area.

There is a colour T.V. , drink making facilities, (fridge with fresh milk in Dining room),  hair dryer and alarm-clock . We use winter or summer-weight duvets as appropriate for the bedding .

Daily rate is from £37.50 per person per night, 2nd and subsequent nights £32.50 per person per night.

 Single Occupancy -
Daily rate is from £40 per night.

Breakfast

Our normal practice is to prepare and cook everything once you have ordered in the morning, so that we can serve it at its best. There are times, however, when a leisurely breakfast is not ideal for you and swift service is more important. If you know that you would like a cooked breakfast to be served promptly, please let us have your order the evening before and tell us the time it is required (within reason).

All tables are for two guests but can be arranged for larger groups ifrequired

Breakfast tea, Earl Grey or a selection of fruit/herb teas

Fresh regular coffee, or de-caffeinated coffee

Our aim is to provide a varied menu using local produce whenever possible., and to offer the breakfast that you would like, rather than arestricted menu. To achieve this, forward planning is essential, and most special diets can be accommodated with sufficient notice. Please ask if you would prefer fresh lemon with your tea.

Cold milk is served for cereals and drinks, but a jug of hot milk is available on request if you prefer.
