Set on the ancient Peddar's Way opposite the church of one of Norfolk's most beautiful coastal villages, The Orange Tree in Thornham is a refurbished yet traditional country pub, serving award winning food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The menu incorporates all the best local seafood and meat to create a modern british menu with a hint of pacific rim influence. A healthy childrens' menu is available and every Sunday we serve a superb roast lunch from 12pm - 5pm. Thornham offers an excellent base for visitors to explore our very special coastline. On the edge of Brancaster bay, we are minutes' walk from Thornham Harbour and superb beach beyond where one can find unspoilt peace even at the height of summer. Very close by is the bustling harbour of Brancaster Staithe and the famous bird reserve of Titchwell. The site of the world-famous "Sea Henge" is within a mile and just along the coast is the popular family resort of Hunstanton. A few miles to the East is one of Norfolk's best loved coastal towns Wells-next-the-sea. Facilities include two large beer gardens and childrens' play area, perfect for relaxing on a summer afternoon.

Alternatively, we can provide a menu to your personal requirements. Our courtyard annexe offers a simple yet comfortable and welcoming base for holidays on the North Norfolk coast. We have five double rooms and one twin or family room. All have en-suite facilities and the family room is fully equipped to cater for disabled guests. Breakfast is served in the main dining room and evening meals and lunch are available every day. If you appreciate good food and good wines and like to dine in style in a relaxing atmosphere, then our restaurant is for you. We are proud of our reputation and with our award winning head chef Phil Milner (catergory winner of 'pub chef' awards 2008) in charge we know that you'll enjoy eating with us. In particular, Phil is well-known in this area for his seafood dishes made from fresh local catches. Good food deserves good wine: We firmly believe that wine is a very important and enjoyable part of the total dining experience. Our small but well-stocked cellar offers a wide variety of wines both by the bottle and by the glass. Although we feature some of the best wines available, our pricing represents true value for the quality of wine we serve.
